Learning to Play & Rest During Covid Days
🌸 Growing up in a low-income, hard-working, Latino family has made it hard for me to play and rest. Thankfully, God’s been teaching me the impact of being able to rest and how resting in Him and creating with Him builds my trust in Him. It seems counterintuitive, but it’s actually easier to work and create with Him when I can rest!
🌸I got inspired to paint after seeing a picture of this giclée on my friend Jill Cushon Ricci’s Facebook page. Luckily, I had some blank canvases and acrylic paints at home!
🌸Learning how to sleep in the storm means giving myself permission to have fun, rest, and create with The Creator.
